**WARNING** Seriously CUTE piccies in this post!!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!!

Okay, so you’ve been warned!!!!!!!!!…..

Now, how cute is this!!??!! This is Lucy, she belongs to my dear friend and neighbour :o) ….January 10 025Isn’t she simply adorable :o)… yes I know Bear’s cute too, but I’m talking about the puppy ;o)!!!!January 10 027She’s a miniature daschund and Bear just couldn’t resist her …….January 10 034 he he he … neither could my DH!!! January 10 035 I think she’s seriously won a heart here LOL.

Well I haven’t only been playing with puppies, although that WAS fun!!! I’ve done some stitching too, mostly for Bear in her new revamped room. Firsly a new ‘skirt’ for her birdcage to catch all the messy seeds Bert and Ollie kick up!! December 09 293 And also a cute topper for her bedside tableDecember 09 322 with pockets to keep her remotes and phone in …… December 09 323I’m also working on something rather spesh, I’ll give you a little peek but you’ll have to wait to see the whole thing ….January 10 037Do you love the fabrics??? They’re “Somerset Cottage” from Moda, so soft and pretty, I LOVE them!!

I’m off to “batten down the hatches”, big storm coming through!!!

Bye for now …………….

Ohhh...What a beautiful little sweety-pup. We had one growing up, we called him Tonto, and this is about the size he was when he came to us...smiling as I remember!

Hi Joy! Goodness me, I almost wrote 'ethel'... how silly :-)
that little puppy is the cutest darn thing.. so cuddly! And the perfect arrangement really - living next door so you can borrow for some play time. That table runner with pockets is very clever :-) and I think I spy something a little familiar in that new project ;-)

Hi Joy,
Happy New Year!
I love the topper for the bedside that you did, I'm actually thinking of doing something like that to Marta bedside table. Thanks for the idea.

I need a table topper like yours with the pockets for remotes, etc. I must make one! I need a pocket for my remote, my Kindle, my heater remote, my finger nail file, my eye drops. Hmmm, I bet I can't have that many pockets! :) blessings, marlene

You are right, Lucy is just toooooo cute! These little daschunds are the best friends you could have. We have two miniatures but sorry to say they didn't stay miniatures!!! One of them weighs nearly 40 lbs. now and the other is not far behind. Still we love them desparately and they are very loyal friends to us. They travel with us in the motorhome and just love to travel. Hope you will enjoy this one as much as we have ours.
