I’ll never get over the kindness of my blogging friends!! I did my very first trunk show last week at Sew This and That for their Biggest Morning Tea (they raised almost $1500 for 'Cancer Research' by the way, isn’t that fabulous!!?!!) ….. and it just so happens to be Marilyn’s “local”!! Marilyn and I have been blogging buddies for a while now and we met for the first time at the Nutters picnic last March where we discovered we BOTH love licorice allsorts ….YUMM!!!! And just look what Marilyn created for me…
surely one of the most spesh gifties ever cos it has all my favourites!!! Spots, pink and green together, it’s looks just like an allsort – even a scrummy little vintage button …… and look what WAS inside (he he he)…
YUMMO!!! There will be no mistaking who they belong to either – see what Marilyn embroidered so beautifully on the lid …
”Ethel’s Allsorts” :o)!!!!! I was quite nervous for the trunk show too and it was great to see a familiar face sitting in the front row :o). Thank you so much my dear bloggy friend, your thoughtfulness just warms my heart :o)!!
Well onto some bucket news … I’ll give you the winners to the giveaway in a moment, but I have discovered that these buckets are FUN to make!!!! Here’s set number 2 in some really delicious ‘Paris’ type fabrics that I bought recently ……
And this simply gawjus trim that I’ve been saving for something special …
The smaller ones have a simple ribbon and lace trim stitched on with pretty Cottage Garden thread…
I think I’m going to have quite a few handy buckets around the place for my stitchy goodies :o). Wait til you see the fabulous kids ones I’m working on too!!!! :o)
And so that some of you can start your collection of cute buckets here are my 3 winners from the giveaway……….
