I made this yesterday

February 2011 076I’ve never used one of these cute purse tops before and it was really easy to put this together!!February 2011 077and a pretty fabric flower with a vintage button to finish it off :o) …February 2011 078   Just right for taking a little handstitch project out … February 2011 081 I think I’ll be making more of these!!

I have never seen those darling purse tops before. Do you find them in quilt shops? I would love to know more about that project. Did the top come with a pattern for the bag, or did you think that up on your own? You did a simply wonderful job. It is just darling! The flower is just the right touch!

Very adorable! I have stayed away from the purse frames because it seems like it would NOT be easy! Maybe I watched the wrong tutorial...LOL

I have never used one of those purse thingee's either...but if you say it's easy I will believe you and give one a go soon!
