A new design – so that means a GIVEAWAY :o)!!!!!

I’m having a terrific May so far!!
View Mothers day 2011
I spent Mother's day with some of my very favourite people :o) ... my beautiful Mum on the far left with Jill, her friend visiting from UK, my DH and of course my wonderful kids. Tahlia (DD1) and her partner Luke are in London but I had a gawjus card and giftie in the mail from them too :o).
I taught a quilt-as-you-go class up in beautiful Caloundra at Kimz Patchwork recently,May 2011 362 (6)these ladies made some gawjus tablerunners using a couple of my favourite quilt-as-you-go methods.

I also had a wonderful day with Maree – you can read all about it here one her blog as she has lots of piccies, but I was a bit slack with the camera that day and this is the only shot I got lol …May 2011 362 (21) but you can tell by the smiles on our faces that we had a lovely day together – thanks Maree we must do it again soon :o)!!!
I went to the Qld Quilters annual picnic. Cath was there with her fabulous threads and patterns (spoilt myself a bit there he he), and I also met up with a couple of dear friends- Pammi (no blog – yet!!) and Jeanette there too – May 2011 393Jeanette was even lucky enough to win one of the raffles!!! I should have got a piccy of us all together - next time ;o).
I’ve also been busy stitching and have finally finished my new design “Bucket of Buckets”. May 2011 408May 2011 362 (13) These are so cute, and they all fit inside each other!!! With 3 different sizes there’s sure to be one to suit whatever stitchy project or other fiddly bits you want to keep in them. May 2011 409The buckets are nice and easy to make so I’m going to do another set in some ‘kid friendly’ fabrics as I think they’d be super handy to keep puzzles, lego and various other kiddly bits in too :o). The pattern is all written up so if you’d like to win one it’s the usual deal – just leave a comment on this post and I’ll pick 3 random winners  next weekend :o).
To make it fun – how about you tell me what you’d keep in your buckets :o)!!!

I can't wait till this pattern is available for purchase, but wouldn't turn down winning a copy, lol.
Once again - absolutely beautiful Joy!

Rita said...

i love your buckets -- they are just too dawgone cute! i'd keep hexagons, templates, and supplies in one; embroidery thread, needles, hoops, and notions in another; and in the largest one i'd keep the current project i was working on with all my fabrics and supplies right next to my recliner in the tv room. Sweet! thank you for this great opportunity.

Ned's Place said...

These new buckets are lovely with handles and zips so great in any fabric especially in the different sizes meant for different things. I would use the small for English paper piecing, the medium one for hand piecing and the large one for Applique and have them all ready to take to Quilt group and quilt retreats. Then I would make a couple more (an embroidery one and a crochet one )for beside my chair in the lounge as they'd look great on display and keep all my stitching neat and tidy.

So that means I'll have to make at least 5 or 6 of them all in different colors.
Thanking you for the chance to win.

Melody said...

I Love, Love, Love the buckets and I would keep hexies in them, a different size in each one. Thanks for the chance to win.

Hugs sweetness!!!!! In abundance!!
