A great Scrap Buster!

My DH and Bear were both away for the weekend. Poor DH was working but Bear was off for a girl’s weekend having fun on the Gold Coast.

So what on earth was I to do all alone while they were away ;o)?

THIS ………… February 2012 068(thanks for holding them down for me while I took the piccy Sophie!!)?

Have you tried these? They’re made using this fabulous tutorial and it’s free - along with heaps of other scrap busting tutorials. They are all by Quiltville’s® Bonnie K Hunter and are so easy peasy. I’ve been wanting to try out these blocks for ages and now I that I have I can see many more will be happening ;o).

I moved my sewing machine into the dining room and put a few pre-recorded shows on the tv and had my very own one woman stitch-in :o)!!!

So now today I’ve had to do this…February 2012 074I’ve cut lots more 2 1/2” squares so they should keep me going for a bit longer :o).

HI, just browsing and dropped in on your lovely star blocks. I will have to have a go - once I've sorted out a new sewing machine.... mine has just given up!!! Lovely to have met you.
