I spent ages yesterday … absolutely ages tidying and decluttering my cave sewing room – I was inspired by Vikki’s post. I even took before and after piccies. Trouble is … there seems to be hardly any difference between the two **sigh**…… so, just to help you out … “before” is on the left!!!
Looking at these piccies I’m beginning to wonder if I did anything at all yesterday, or if I was dreaming!!!!! Oh Dear … again you need to really closely to see the difference … **sigh** … before is on the left again.
I have come to the conclusion that I simply have too much stuff.
Sad but true.
I guess I’m just going to have to learn to live with it ;o).

Don't feel bad about ahving too much 'stuff', she with the most wins *wink*. There is clearly a change in your before and after shots, sadly as soon as you get inspired again it's likely to go to pot but creativity was never tidy - cheer up.

yes i can see differences there Joy. But if the "stuff" bothers you i'm sure i can find a spot for it. :) heheh. Hugs, Jeanette
Sometimes it is hard to tell if I have cleaned up my sewing room or not so I am right in there with you.
I can see the difference but you need stuff to create.
Like Janette said "If you have to much you could always find a home"
You may have a lot of stuff BUT it's all great stuff!! Enjoy it!!

So glad that someone else's craft "space" looks just like mine does...all the time....even cleaned up!
Looks great....your personal creative space.
cheers Julz
Oh Joy :) The world of 'too much stuff' is a fabulous place to live! and the neighbours are soooo friendly .....
I want to come play in your workroom.
love Cheryl xx
One can NEVER have too much. Say it with me!!!!
Hi Joy, I've been having a go at mine too...and you would notice a difference if only that the drying laundry was gone and the table top was partially visible...yours is much better...mine will be gone again real soon...LOL
Hugs, Sharon
Hi Joy, my sewing room/studio/office is in a constant state of chaos. I love it that way. Your space looks fine to me.
I decided at the beginning of the year to make a resolution not to buy anything at all for my stitching/creating this year. I cannot believe I have made it into June and am still living on the "fat" in my sewing stash. I have been very productive and have also sent goodies to stitching friends and of course they have reciprocated.
I am enjoying the challenge of using what I have on hand.
Hello GAWJUS!!!!!
Darling, your craft space looks wonderful! I want to come over for a play! I've concluded that it's ok not to get rid of "stuff", I told myself I just need to prioritise what I leave close to hand, and stuff less used goes in tubs in the laundry!!!
You have inspired me too sweetie! Thank you!!!!!!
Love and hugs!!
Vikki xoxo
Your space looks much better than mine! We really do "gather" a lot of stuff don't we , lol !
Never too much stuff Joy..
My sewing place looks like that Tornado hit here as well as over east..A little mess looks like you have been busy!!
Oh Joy, my lovely friend, you can NEVER have too much Quilty stuff!!! Where would we get our inspiration??? Anyway, bare is boring! I love your space...feels just like home and it's just 'gawjus'!
sugary hugs my lovely :O)

i agree with the other girls - you can never,, ever, have too much stuff!!! i can certainly see your hard work - perhaps you could come over and sort mine!!!!
xxx
You crack me up! You do have to look closely, but there is an improvement! At least you have a space. ~karen
Oh I feel your pain. I have got to go and organize mine but just haven't been in the mood. You have encouraged me. I really can see a difference.
I can see the difference so well done on the tidy up.
Joy I don't think it was messy enough to do a tidy up! true, you should have seen my before pics.....
All kidding aside, your room looks fantastic, love it, creative and pretty.
Peg's slice looks delish, will have to give it a go.
Andrea
I think you have a whole lot of blessings! Think of the things you can create in your wonderful space. I found your place thru spring fever bingo!
Love, love, the bird picture at the top of your blog
I feel the same way - lots of stuff. But I shift it around and spruce it up like you have. And it makes me feel better. I spent 3hours in the sewing room saturday doing just what you did.
Hi Joy ~ I came to visit you via "Little Stitches" where your blog was featured today.
I don't think your sewing room is bad....it would be boring if we didn't have much "stuff". Have fun quilting!
Oh so love your sewing in both the before and after photos....lol
Your room ROCKS!!!!
I can see the difference, and it comforts me to see that other people have sewing rooms like mine, well equipped with materials for many purposes.
YOur right Joy, some pic's there looks like little difference; but there IS difference. There MUST be SOME difference if you have tidied up and things are easier to find!
Looks good!
Nooooo...you don't have too much stuff, you have too little space! Ask hubby to build on a new room and that should do the trick. Just teasing of course, we do love our stuff and if it makes you happy then what's the problem with that.
I know what you mean Joy... I too spent yesterday morning tidying up... because I can't move in any room here.... LOL
I can see where you done things.... I think... LOL Just teasing.....
