Here’s a little more of what I’ve been making at the workshop at my quilt group ……
I love how this is coming together. I think it’s going to be a really nice bag :o)!!
More progress on my own sashiko design too……... 
I popped into my local quilt store yesterday and found some gawjus black and white (and one red) fabrics to go with the stitcheries. Love the spots ;o).
I also found this little gem. I could only find one fat quarter so that had to come home with me!!!
It’s just wonderful …. it’s like a linen …….
Of course, when I got home I started playing around with the other reds in my stash and found that my new fatty goes just perfectly with my favourite range of the moment, Rouenneries
I have absolutely no idea what will become of this little lot … for now I think I shall just enjoy looking at their fabricky yumminess:o)!!!!

You are so right, Joy! Those fabrics are just gawus!! The bag is as well. I've never heard of sashiko until your posts but I love it!! Going to see if I can learn how to do that myself. Cant' wait to see what happens to all those beautiful red fabrics. Have fun!

I love this project! Beautiful stitching and lovely fabrics. Thanks for stopping by for a visit. My mother loved Shirley Temple so I think that had a lot to do with our curls. LOL! I love her, too, so thanks for the compliment!
I love the sewing fabric. Did it have anything on the selvage telling who makes it or what it is called. It is so darling!
