Monday started out terrific when the mailman called with these…….Oh Yummmmmm, am I drooling LOL???!!!!…. This is my bee-yoo-tiful “Martinique” – 3 Sisters fat quarter bundle … my very FIRST fat quarter bundle. Ooooh, I LOVE it!!! I haven’t even undone the ribbon yet, still revelling in it’s fabricky yumminess :o)!! And these too ……… I love this range to bits …. “Blush” by Basic Grey. Aren’t they so pretty??!!? I have charms to go with these too {{{sigh}}} ….Monday afternoon when I got home from my quilting group I see that I ‘ve got an order for some patterns needed asap. No problem, I could print them up that night and post them first thing in the morning. But this is what I got half way through the run ….. EEEEEK!!!!! and a stupid “alarm” light as well ….. I begged, I cleaned, I cajoled and I even googled, but nothing was gonna take away that stupid message. It should’ve just said “I’m dead .. buy a new one!!!”
So …. that’s what I did bright and early yesterday morning.Of course, nothing can go smoothly can it. I got it home, hooked up the printer and installed the software, which took about an hour after falling over packaging and struggling to get the darn thing out of the box in the first place ….. only to find out that it too is broken!!! AAAARGH … googles, phonecalls (both to no avail) then back it went into the box with all it’s packing (not quite how I found it but hey, ya get that!!) and back to the store for a refund. Simple yes?? Nope!!! I forgot the receipt!!!! Drove all the way home, got the stupid receipt, went back to the store, exchanged the stupid broken printer and brought the new one home.
Oh Pretty ……. and it works ……… phew!!!
Deadline met …. patterns are in the mail :o).
All’s well that ends well they say – but oh, what a day lol ;o).
How was your day????

yummy yummy fabrics Joy... Pity about the rest of the day though.... at least it's fixed....and ready to roll... Big Hugs Dawn x x x
Wow! At least your day started out well with the lovely fabric and ended well with a working printer! It's just the in between stuff you could have done without! LOL
Pretty, pretty fabrics - wherever we live, we seem to need to have fabrics shipped to us - what is it? Now, the printer - I thought I was the only one to have stresses like that lol! - I bet those strikeouts are more then 'stupid'!
Hugs - Lurline♥
I think you summed it up perfectly; "All's well that ends well!" Focus on the 'fabricky yumminess'! LOL! Enjoy it! :)
I love your fabric and I feel your pain with the printer problems but I'm glad it's all sorted now , phew !
That was some stressful experience! Glad you got a new printer and won't have that kind of problem again for a while! Fabrics are really yummy! Can't wait to see what you do with them.

That is kind of funny, but so frustrating at the same time! Glad you are back in the printing business. I still have to buy my purse pattern! Your fabrics are beautiful. Lucky You! We will be waiting for the reveal featuring these georgous fabrics! -Cori
To relieve stress from naughty printers, go pet new fabric. Untie the ribbon [it's so hard, I know!] and run your hand over every single fat, and by the time you're at the end of the stack, you'll be saying printer? what printer?
Those fabrics look lovely!
Glad you got your printed sorted out too.... very frustrating!
Beautiful fabrics!! and luckily you've got a new printer (but what an adventure!)
Hi Joy,
I feel your pain!!
my worst printer day was this...
had a class to run p.m. that day at Mrs Martins.
Minky (cat) decided a.m. to have a nice old chew on the printer AND sewing machine power leads rendering BOTH items useless. I cried! I needed both!!!!!
Got through ok with last minute borrowed leads.
A stress I didn't need!!!
Glad all worked out ok for you - these are the things we look back on and laugh at that ARE NOT FUNNY at the time! LOL!
xo Cath
Love the fabric Joy...yummy....darn with the printer, I too have just purchased one of those and I have it set up as wireless...fantasic.....
It sounds like 'one of those days', and computers are wonderful when they work, but you want to put your fist thru the monitor when they don't, grin, OH WAIT! It wasn't the monitor, why waste a good monitor, grin, but there it is right in front of you, now I know why the kids run and hide when one of them is in trouble, think they will be the one to stand in the corner for an hour, grin. Oh, Happy Days there and here too;)))
I also got my Martinique- bundle recently... and I'm so thrilled!
very yummy fabric! ;D
I too had printer issues this week... mine just ran out of one of the toners... so I thought seeing as I had to drive 50kms in to get the darn toner... I would buy all 4 and when the others run out I have them here..
Good thinking I hear you say... it was.. but 4 toners cost me $738.... LOL
But I was able to finish off printing my patterns for the quilt show at Boonah... which is on this weekend... yes I was half way through printing off all my new patterns for the show......
Love your new fabrics.....

had a laugh reading about your printer woes....glad things are working better for you now. Gosh lucky that wasn't me, would have been some day tripping back and forth to the shops considering it is a 2+hour round trip for me!
