I’m still here ;o)!!!
So what have I been up to for the past couple of weeks?? Well I’ve been helping a group of ladies to arrange this super fun “High Tea” that was being run as a fundraiser to help fund our upcoming “Redlands Quilt Extravaganza” being held in September. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time, and the food was simply delicious … thanks to the fabulous ladies from the Cleveland Baptist Church. Lots of wonderful little crustless sandwiches, light as a feather scones with jam and fresh cream, tiny cupcakes and choccy delights that just melted in the mouth – just to name a few. Lots of chatter and loads of prizes to be won. I managed to grab a quick piccy before everyone arrived … didn’t the tables look super!!!??
A big thank you to my Bear too who kindly helped us out by waiting tables with us today. You’re a gem gawjus girl :o)!!!!
By a complete coincidence the High Tea was just up the road from one of my favourite places to visit – Bayside Stitchcraft he he he!!! So of course I had to pop in on the way home – just to see if there was anything new on the shelves, and guess what … there was :oD!!!!!!!! These super-cute scissors!! Just adorable doncha think?
So …………………
I got me a whole litter LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that’s not all!! I found this fabulous Hot Pad pattern, isn’t it the cutest, just like a pie :o)!!complete with blueberry fabric for the filling (actually I think these are grapes, just don't look too closely he he) :o).
And I bought this fabulous Mug Hug too, cos you all know I love my coffee :o) … I’ve been doing some stitching too …. I’m working on another ‘Doctor Bag’ (still not sure what to call it) … I’m loving these fabrics ;o) …Cute little owls and dragonflies.
I’ll be back soon to tell you all about some beautiful squishy mail I received.
But til then …….

Simply couldn’t help myself
A year or so ago I bought myself a little pressie. It was something I’d seen on ebay and just couldn’t resist…They’re original old Singer treadle drawers that have been made into the cutest little cabinet, complete with the gawjus decals on the side.Well if you’re a fellow stitcher/crafter … then I’m sure you’ll understand when I say that already these drawers are full to overflowing. So ……… what’s a stitcher to do, but buy more :o). Look what I found on ebay …It’s just perfect next to my ironing mat – I even have the most beautiful little topper to protect it!! It was originally made as a wallhanging for me by Dawn, but I’m sure my dear friend won’t mind if I use it on my new drawer, it’s such a perfick fit :o)!!!! What a useful little item, I can keep my little Clover iron in the drawer, and my pretty pink everyday iron stands proudly on top :o).But that’s not all I bought!!! Lucky for me the seller of this little item was local, so I could pick it up. But when I got there he showed me some others that he had. Now I think you probably already know what I did don’t you???!!!!!! Yep, I bought another LOL …This time a set of 3 drawers.
I simply couldn’t resist lol.
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend ……
